About Shane
I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, which provided me with an in-depth understanding of chemical principles, laboratory methods, and reaction mechanisms. Over 9 years of teaching, I have supported learners in mastering theoretical concepts and practical applications while fostering confidence and analytical skills. Beginners focus on foundational topics such as atomic structure, basic reactions, stoichiometry, and chemical nomenclature to build confidence. Intermediate learners explore reaction pathways, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and titration techniques, enhancing both conceptual knowledge and practical abilities. Advanced learners tackle complex organic mechanisms, laboratory analysis, spectroscopy, and advanced problem-solving, integrating theoretical understanding with hands-on skills.
