About Stanley
I am a chemist/teacher/fitness advocate who has taught Basic Sciences at primary and secondary levels, improving students performance by an impressive 50% of the class population. Also, I was a private tutor; boosting my student's ability in his weak subjects, sciences; he went on to write and pass JAMB with a score of 61 in Maths.

My teaching method is student-centered. I base my teachings on interactions with my students; I also become more open and accommodating as I and my students share ideas. I approach each topic by first inquiring of the student, prior knowledge of the topic, then I introduce the topic from the simplest possible front. I explore the topic in detail, occasionally making jokes when I notice disinterest creeping in. I believe in practical instances so I sort for examples and real life experiences that would aid better comprehension. I give assignments to evaluate the student's understanding; however, I try as much as possible not to overwork the student as he/she may start avoiding classes. Often, I always conclude every topic with an overview/summary of major sub-topics.
