About Lee
My journey into Chemistry started with a tutor. I was tutored from GCSE to A level in Maths and Science, and my tutor inspired me so much that I decided to pursue a Chemistry degree. As a recent graduate starting a postgraduate degree, I want to be that same source of inspiration for my own students. My approach focuses on personalised learning, fixing weak foundations, and building genuine confidence. I know the struggles of exam preparation from personal experience, so my one hour lessons blend clear explanations with active practice. I set tailored homework after each session to ensure progress sticks. These lessons are designed for GCSE students aged 14 to 16 who want to feel inspired and capable in Maths and Science.

My teaching approach is built on personalisation and active recall. As a recent Chemistry graduate, I bring fresh and current knowledge of GCSE exam boards. While I am new to formal tutoring, I have extensive recent experience as a tutee myself. This means I know exactly what works from a student's perspective and what feels unhelpful. I typically recommend one hour lessons to maximise concentration, blending quick fire questions with deeper dives into tricky topics.
