About Ivy
I am a dedicated Chemistry instructor with an MChem degree and over 4 years of teaching experience. I specialise in guiding both school and university-level students towards a deeper understanding of chemistry. My focus is on making theoretical chemistry engaging, clear, and meaningful. I use conceptual models to simplify abstract ideas. I also emphasise analytical derivations to help students see the logic behind every formula.
Subjects like physical chemistry, quantum chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics are taught step by step. I believe strong fundamentals lead to long-term success. My sessions are structured, interactive, and adapted to each student’s pace. I encourage curiosity and independent thinking in every class. Students learn not just to solve problems, but to understand why solutions work.

My teaching approach in Chemistry is calm, clear, and deeply focused on understanding concepts rather than memorising them. I guide students through the mathematical foundations of chemistry so they can see how ideas truly connect. Topics like physical chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, and statistical mechanics are explained step by step in a simple way. I make complex theories feel manageable.
I encourage students to think slowly and reflect on what they learn. This helps them build confidence and accuracy. My sessions include problem-solving, real examples, and guided practice. I also connect chemistry with biology and industrial applications to make learning more meaningful.
Students interested in deeper thinking, creative science ideas, and independent exploration feel comfortable in my classes. I support them in developing their own way of understanding and expressing scientific ideas. I help them grow stronger in exams, assignments, and advanced topics. At the same time, I create a peaceful learning space where they can focus and improve steadily.
