About Marwa
As a student who is currently on the voyage through the PRE-MEDICINE route and has sat UCAT (previously called UMAT), GAMSAT and university level exams/courses, I have the experience and grasp of what it takes to be an all-rounder. I hope to teach students how and that they can learn ANYTHING.
I also have experience working with children and adolescents as a Kumon instructor (maths and literacy), and tutoring university students first year Chemistry and Biology, as well as medical physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology.
In college I took: Major in Chemistry, Biology, Specialist Methods Mathematics, and two Minors in Human Bio (Yr 12) and Physics (Yr 11).
High school: (ACE) curriculum extension maths, English and science.
I am currently studying: Bachelor of Health Science at ANU

I offer flexible one-to one private tutoring a group/pair lessons for students in high school and above. I am flexible with lesson durations, averaging 30 - 60 mins in length. Lessons start from $40 an hour.
I enjoy developing curious and critical minds, which is increasingly rare nowadays with "route learning". I like to keep my students engaged, by providing a "WHY?" basis for learning concepts, real-world applications, whilst keeping you on track to meet your academic goals. I develop lesson plans according to your curriculum needs (+ plus some fun enrichment activities that will prepare you to think like a university level student).
Personalised and practical, I provide introductory lessons for FREE where we discuss and make goals for your learning needs and get to know one another personally. I will regularly check in and provide feedback on assessments. I can provide mini-assessments to test your retention and application of concepts and I will mark your work, discuss your thought processes and provide a clear framework for approaching assessments and questions.

CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY (high school level) .... $40 per hour
COLLEGE AST Yr 11 and Yr 12 Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology and Physics .... $50 p/h
*mathematics upon request depending on level/units.
UNIVERSITY courses (upon request .... $60 p/h)
I will offer support for students via SMS and email and respond by the next business day or so. I can set up online lessons via Zoom, Google meet etc. for students anywhere in Australia
