About Adam

I have a BS in Chemical Engineering (plus grad school). I've been a chemical engineer, a software engineer, an applications solutions architect, and software engineering manager. As a manager, I coach teams and individuals to become high-performing teams. My passion is in mentoring and coaching! As a mentor, I meet one-on-one with my team to help them find their own career goals and make a plan to achieve them. I teach teams how to collaborate and communicate. Everyone has an important voice and I encourage everyone to share their ideas in a safe environment. I will teach you what I know about breaking down problems into manageable pieces.

About the lesson

I believe understanding key concepts will take you much farther than memorization. Many concepts in math and science are hard to grasp the first time you see them (e.g., "How is 'x' a number??").

I'll take the time to help you understand them.
I'll help you do your homework.
I'll prepare you for exams.
I'll teach you ways to predict what might be asked on an exam.

Hopefully, I can teach you techniques to figure out things yourself in the future.
