About Praveen
Hi, I'm Praveen, a Master's student in Chemical Engineering at IIT Bombay. I have a strong foundation in core subjects like heat transfer, mass transfer, and chemical reaction engineering, along with mathematics and chemistry.
I enjoy teaching because I remember how confusing these topics can feel at first. My aim is to explain them in simple language, connect them to real engineering applications, and help you build the confidence to solve problems on your own.
I'm patient, punctual, and well prepared for every class, and I adapt each lesson to your level and goals. Whether you're struggling with a topic or aiming for top marks, I'll support you at every step. I'd be glad to help you succeed!

Hello, I'm Praveen, a Master's graduated student in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay. I teach chemical engineering subjects, mathematics, and chemistry, and my goal is to make difficult topics feel clear and manageable.
My teaching approach
I start with the concept and the intuition behind it, then move to numerical problems. Many students memorize formulas without knowing when to use them, so I focus on understanding why a formula works. I use step-by-step problem solving, real-world examples (heat exchangers, reactors, distillation columns), and a digital whiteboard for diagrams and derivations.

Mass Transfer (diffusion, absorption, distillation, extraction)
Chemical Reaction Engineering (rate laws, reactor design, conversion and yield)
