About Mergan
My name is Mergan Munawa and most people call me Mergs. lm a chemical engineer by profession and currently work in the Renewables industry. I was born and bred in Zimbabwe and settled in the Uk since 2015. I’ve always been passionate in making a difference and contributing to change in the world and environment we live in hence why l chose to partake in chemical engineering. I’m enthusiastic about part-time teaching to inspire students and make a positive impact. I emphasise more on a student-focused method, where l place importance on adaptability and reciprocal learning, cherishing the exchange of ideas and personal development between me and my students. It is also a way of me giving back to society what l’ve learnt in my academic and professional career. I possess a strong passion, patience, and resilience, qualities I aim to impart through tutoring. My approach prioritizes students' needs, creating a flexible and relaxed learning atmosphere. While I provide guidance, I also value the opportunity to learn from my students, contributing to my personal growth and development. Beyond tutoring and my professional endeavors, I indulge in chess as a hobby, relishing the strategic challenges it offers. Additionally, I find joy in exploring new places through walking, and I maintain my fitness by participating in boxing. These activities not only provide relaxation and enjoyment but also contribute to my overall well-being and balance in life.
