About Nader

My name is Nader Hassan I’m a Chartered Building Engineer (MCABE) with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers CABE in the UK and also Registered Egyptian Architect with the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers holding an MSc in Construction Management & Economics and a BA Hons in Architectural Engineering, both from the University of Greenwich in London, United Kingdom and a BA Hons in Architectural Engineering from Modern Science & Arts University in Cairo, Egypt. I have over 15 years of experience in the field of Architectural Design, Interior Design and Construction. My years of experience are divided between full employments in Egypt and The United Kingdom. Through my years of experience I have grasped a vast amount of knowledge in the Architectural and Construction Sectors in two very diverse economies, including but not limited to knowledge in Urban and town planning, Architectural Consultation on small and large multimillion Pounds Projects, construction & project management, Building Regulations, Interior Design, sun studies and many more. I am a very competent user in CAD Applications in particular ArchiCAD as I have been using it for over 15 years now. With limitless ability to produce small non-complex fully BIM models on ArchiCAD to very large and complex BIM Models, both in 2D & 3D Formats. In addition to High Definition Quality Exterior and Interior Photo Visualisations and Rendering on Artlantis.

About the lesson

I am here because I feel that I have a duty to share some of my experience and knowledge in using ArchiCAD to help the coming generation in the early introduction of such architectural tool. Patience is a virtue in teaching, and the most important thing in teaching is the delivery of the information to each individual. Each and every one of us has their unique ways of absorbing the information relayed to us. I was fortunate enough to have come across people from all walks of life and have gained the experience and know-how in how to approach every type of individual and how to deliver the information according to each individual's ability to absorb. The course content is simple and easy to understand, I don't tend to complicate things and try my best to simplify even the hardest of tasks or commands. ArchiCAD is a very simple and easy programme to use once all features have been explained and exercised regularly.

Perfect! Nader is a very customer focused tutor for Sketchup. I'd told him what I wanted to design, which is a garden office/workshop and he gave me the skills to do exactly that during the first free hour with him. This is much better than getting no-where with youtube tutorials. Given Nader's proffessional background as an architect and engineer he was also able to advise on typical best practices in constructing the workshop as we went along. I don't know what I could want more from a tutor. I'll be back for more after I've practiced what he's taught me.

Nader oversaw my extension and decking build. He dealt with us as clients but more importantly had a wonderful rapport with our builders and local authorities. The build was delayed due to neighbours objections and Nader dealt with all the architectural drawings, planning and complaints through to completion. At times when we lost our cool Nader was the one who had the level head that calmed the situation. I cannot think of a more professional and knowledgable person to be a tutor - good luck to you all.
