About Sakshi
Hi, my name is Sakshi, I am a Chartered Accountant currently pursuing an MSc in Corporate Finance at University College Cork.
I enjoy working with numbers and explaining financial concepts in a simple and practical way.
I want to teach because I understand that subjects like Accounting and Finance can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming, and I would like to help students understand the concepts clearly, build confidence and approach their studies in a more structured way.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace.

Teaching Methodology & Approach
My approach is to keep lessons clear, practical and easy to understand, with a focus on building strong fundamentals before moving to more challenging topics. I explain concepts step by step, use simple examples and encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson. I can also help students with practice questions, revision and exam preparation.
Lessons would typically be 60 minutes, with the pace adjusted according to the student’s level and requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
1. Professional Credentials: Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with a strong academic background (CGPA 9.69/10 in B.Com) and current postgraduate student in Corporate Finance.
2. Practical Industry Background: Professional experience across Statutory Audit (KPMG affiliate), Business Finance (BPCL) and Corporate Finance/Investor Relations.
3. Mentoring Experience: Hands-on experience tutoring and mentoring CA students, helping them navigate complex accounting standards, auditing principles and financial management topics.
Target Audience & Student Level
Secondary school students (Leaving Cert / High School Accounting & Business) as well as undergraduate university students and professional accounting aspirants (CA / ACCA / Finance majors).
Levels Covered: Beginners looking to build a strong foundational understanding of accounting principles, through to advanced students tackling complex financial accounting, corporate finance and auditing concepts.
