About Sanya
I’m a certified yoga instructor trained at the Himalayan Yoga School in Rishikesh, India—where yoga is not just practiced, but lived. My training combines traditional yoga philosophy with practical anatomy and alignment, allowing me to guide students safely and confidently at every level.
I teach with a calm, friendly, and encouraging approach, making sure students feel comfortable, supported, and motivated from the very first class. My sessions are well-structured yet relaxed, focused on mindful movement, breathing, and steady progress rather than pressure or perfection.
I like to keep the learning experience enjoyable and approachable. Every student is different, so I adapt each lesson to individual needs, goals, and energy levels. Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, improve flexibility, build strength, or simply feel better in your body, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
My goal is to help you develop a sustainable, balanced yoga practice—one that supports both your body and mind, on and off the mat.

My teaching approach is student-centered, mindful, and practical. I focus on building a strong foundation through proper alignment, breath awareness, and gradual progression. Each session blends traditional yogic principles with modern techniques to ensure safety, effectiveness, and sustainability. I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s goals, physical condition, and experience level.
A typical class includes:
- Gentle warm-up and joint mobility
- Asana practice (Hatha or Vinyasa), adjusted to the student’s level
- Pranayama (breathing techniques)
- Short meditation or relaxation (Yoga Nidra or mindfulness)
- Brief feedback and guidance for home practice
My training at the Himalayan Yoga School in Rishikesh allows me to teach authentic yoga rooted in tradition while keeping sessions approachable and practical. I emphasize mindful movement, injury prevention, and mental well-being—not just physical poses. I create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace.
