About SHIVA

I have a background in Engineering along with a TEFL/TESOL certification with over Twenty Five years of combined experience and can converse on a wide range of subjects. I've been teaching English for over Ten years and I find myself to be a creative, innovative, and fun-loving person. I have a great passion for the English Language and teaching with a great aptitude. About the lesson

I come across as an enthusiastic, energetic, and creative professional with a passion for teaching English and always creating a fun-filled, enriching learning experience. I love to teach in a clear and transparent manner, making every effort to drive a thorough understanding, and blend myself through different learning acumen. Alongside, I take a keen interest in gauging the performance of the students that I teach from time to time, with a special emphasis on devising instant strategies for slow learners/underperformers. Currently, I'm active in giving online English classes, prominently General English and Business English to working professionals, adult learners and career seekers (from Colombia, Ecuador & India) covering all forms of the language - Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening; along with grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I'm TEFL/TESOL Certified, CEFR Level C1 Advanced and a Graduate in Engineering with a near-native proficiency in English. I'm a Teacher, Consultant and Coach with a combined professional international experience in Teaching, Business Management and Development of over 25 years across the Middle East, India, China and Latin America. A typical lesson duration would be for one hour and I ensure that you derive the maximum understanding of the lesson and progress through the levels. It would be more comfortable for each of us if you have a very basic knowledge of English (minimum A1) and a minimum age of fifteen years. Let's get going and meet up soon!
