About Manie
After studying many languages and being a part of translation, undertaking TEFL and assisting in Business English for foreigners, I understand that everyone learns at their own pace and a relatable tutor can really help!
I am a graduate of Spanish at university where I had the opportunity to live in Spain, studying and assisting in translation at the same time. While there I also studied additional languages, including Mandarin Chinese. In addition to Spanish I love studying further languages and have completed a certified 120 hour TEFL course in order to be able to take the experience I gained learning other languages and translate it into teaching English.

Every student learns at a different pace! But luckily through use of everyday materials such as academic articles and subject specific textbooks, in each class we can focus on increasing vocabulary and academic English for reading, writing, and speaking. In order to both write and speak confidently and naturally, in each class, time can be divided between exercises based on developing the ability to communicate efficiently and professionally.
If you struggle writing academic assignments and often have trouble keeping up with lectures, these classes can really help! We can even review class materials that you find confusing in order to make sure you don't fall behind.
All notes taken by me in preparation for, or during class, will be provided to the student afterwards for use in their own revision and study.
