About Mathieu

Passionate about teaching French, I help learners regain confidence in speaking and find joy in expressing themselves.

My background: Certified in French as a Foreign Language with 6 years of experience, I support adults from around the world (Alliance française, university, online courses...) through a human, engaging and effective approach.

My philosophy: I deeply believe that we progress when we:
- feel heard and supported,
- have space to express ourselves,
- learn by doing, playing, testing, truly speaking.

What motivates me daily is seeing my students flourish, dare to express themselves, and discover they're capable of much more than they thought.

Bonus: I also offer free interviews (30 minutes) to better understand the journeys and needs of people learning French. If you want to share your experience with me, don't hesitate to mention it in your message!

About the lesson

My goal for you
To help you express yourself naturally, fluently and confidently in French - even in situations where you have previously doubted yourself.

My method that makes all the difference
- Flipped classroom: you discover certain concepts before class so we can apply them directly together
- Adapted format: small groups or individual lessons so you always have the floor and real space to express yourself
- Active learning: games, role-playing, debates to talk about authentic subjects in a relaxed atmosphere
- Kind correction: we work on your mistakes to turn them into lasting learnings

This course is for you if you are:
- A learner at B1-B2 level who wants to improve speaking skills
- Someone who wants to talk with native speakers, but doesn't dare yet - Someone who needs a framework to make progress without pressure, but with consistency

Concrete results after our lessons:
- More confidence in speaking French in all situations
- An active vocabulary adapted to your personal/professional needs
- Concrete tools to help you express yourself more clearly
- Authentic pleasure in speaking French
- The ability to flourish socially and professionally in France

Ready to transform your relationship with spoken French? Write to me so we can discuss your goals!

Mathieu's response
