About Cassandra
As a graduate from the University of Central Florida with my BA degree in English 6-12 and my MA degree in Exceptional Student Education k-12, I have 8 years of teaching experience in the classroom, middle and high school combined.
I aim to make sure that students fully understand the content and are successful in anything that they do. I am a firm believer in pushing beyond your comfort zone in order to ensure that you are working to your full potential and capabilities.
I like to have fun while we learn and make my lessons engaging and relatable in every which way possible.

As a teacher, I've always found it important to have lessons that are personalized and that cater to each of my students' individual needs and learning styles.
My lessons are designed in a way that students are able to have the time they need to practice the skill in as many ways possible so they are able to master it.
I like to start my lessons with some direct instruction, then I like to practice together with my students and, once they have understood what they need to know, they are left to practice on their own and if they need help, I am always available.
My lessons are designed for students in middle school and high school who need help with English, Reading, Writing, Spelling, and Grammar.
