About Jayme
Not only have I tutored at all levels elementary through graduate school, I have also served as a study skills specialist while at Rice and as a 7th grade teacher upon graduating. I am willing to work with individual students, as well as with small groups, to achieve desired results on your desired budget. My privately tutored students have seen at least a letter grade improvement in their coursework when they start working with me, and all of the students I have tutored in AP exams and subject tests were thrilled with their results. Furthermore, my 7th grade students had among the top 20% of scores in my district, in just my first year of formal teaching.

I am a graduate of Rice University, double majoring in biochemistry and sociology. I have been tutoring all levels of students, from elementary school to graduate school, for the past 6 years and a certified Texas teacher. I believe in getting students excited about learning, making hard-to-grasp material more hands-on, teaching strong study skills, and a student-by-student approach to curriculum.
