About Jesse
I studied and fell in love with Spanish at La Universidad Adventista del Plata where I attended for 9 months in Argentina. I went on to graduate with a BA in Spanish Education from Eastern Washington University with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language. Later, I substitute taught Pk-12 for several years and found that I prefer teaching students 1-on-1 or in small groups so that I can more creatively help students meet their goals.

My goal for beginner to intermediate students is to prepare you to learn Spanish on your own. To get you there I have developed a Spanish 1-2 curriculum that emphasizes speaking by role-playing. I also have recommendations for reading materials, podcasts, music, TV shows, apps, websites, and language partner platforms at your level. If your goal is to pass a class, we can go over homework, discuss and practice memorization techniques and tools to study on your own.
