About Michiyo
Qualified Native Japanese Teacher (Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test*) I completed "The Japanese Language Teachers' Training Course" certified by Ministry of External Affairs of India and Embassy of Japan in India. *For Japanese native speakers, passing JLPT n1 is not tough but Teaching Competency Test is for native Japanese speakers and its passing rate is only around 25% every year. I have 7 years of teaching experience at IIT. I deeply understand the challenges Indian learners often face — grammar particles, pronunciation, and polite speech. My lessons focus on practical Japanese for studying, working, or internships in Japan. With an MSc in science, I can also support learners with technical or academic goals. I have also supported the students and professors in IIT who were preparing for visiting Japan. Let’s learn Japanese clearly, confidently, and enjoyably together!

-Japanese conversation----- Let's talk a lot without fear of making mistakes in the relaxed atmosphere! Language is learned through output. I focus on "immediately usable Japanese" tailored to the learner's goals and interests. We can hold discussions on a set topic or free talk. We can also prepare the topic, or students can choose a topic that interests them. While talking I will correct your pronunciation and introduce natural expressions. At the end of the lesson, I will provide feedback on important expressions and grammar points.
-JLPT listening prep -----We will use the prep course book and audio. ★One of my students got full mark in N3 listening and 93% in N2 listening.
