About Hannah

With over ten years of marketing experience in agencies and in-house at financial services firms, I have extensive knowledge and expertise in the field. The experience I have gained and my love of the industry motivate me to help up-and-coming marketers.

In addition to having a 2:1 degree in publishing, I am currently studying part-time for a BA (Hons) degree in communications, and I have certifications/diplomas in digital marketing, event management, and marketing. I also hold the Hubspot Inbound Certification and am a Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate.

About the lesson

To ensure students have a solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies, I will cover these key topics in a comprehensive marketing lesson:

Introduction to Marketing: What marketing is, its importance, and its role in business.

Market Analysis: Understanding the market, including identifying customer needs and wants, and analysing the competition.

Marketing Mix: The 4 Ps of marketing: product, price, place, and promotion. It would also include information on branding and packaging.

Target Market: Identifying the target market, understanding their needs and preferences, and developing a marketing strategy to reach them.

Marketing Research: Conducting research to understand customer behavior, attitudes, and preferences, as well as market trends.

Marketing Strategy: Developing a comprehensive marketing plan, including setting marketing goals and objectives, developing a budget, and creating a timeline.

Digital Marketing: Digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).

Marketing Metrics: Understanding and measuring the effectiveness of marketing efforts, such as return on investment (ROI), customer lifetime value (CLV), and customer acquisition cost (CAC).

Ethical and Social Responsibility: The ethical considerations in marketing, including issues such as truth in advertising, product safety, and environmental sustainability.
