I use a fun, hands-on, and play-based approach that keeps young learners engaged through songs, stories, games, and movement. I adapt to each child’s pace and learning style, making lessons feel like mini adventures. My focus is building strong reading, writing, and math skills through positive, confidence-building experiences.
Sample Lesson Plan:
Theme: “Magic Learning Garden”
1. Warm-Up (5 mins)
Welcome song and movement
Quick review game (sight words or counting)
2. Reading & Comprehension (10 mins)
Read a short story
Ask simple who/what/where questions
Retell or act it out
3. Phonics & Spelling (10 mins)
Build CVC or sight words with tiles
Tap out sounds
Make a silly sentence together
4. Writing (5 mins)
Draw and write a simple sentence: “I see a ___.”
5. Math (10 mins)
Count, add, or sort with objects
Quick number game or puzzle
6. Review & Goodbye (5 mins)
Review what we learned
Sing a goodbye song and give a sticker.
