About Spencer
I'm a Certified Flight Instructor / CFII with more than 1500 hours of experience. I've helped students achieve their dreams of becoming a pilot in 2 months. Because I have experience in both busy airspace in California and uncontrolled airports in Nevada, Idaho, and Utah, I can tailor lessons to your specific area. I can help you learn anything you need so that you will be confident in your abilities as a pilot. A typical lesson begins with questions to see what you know and then focus on the areas where improvement is needed. I tailor each lesson to the specific airspace in your local area. I believe that a good pilot is one who is well rounded and therefore will ask you to the apply the knowledge in a new location. I don't believe that learning should just be a collection of facts. Rather, I try explain the "why" behind things.
