About Léonie

My name is Leonie, I'm 28 and I come from France. I'm in New Zealand until April, because I'm a huge LOTR fan, and I want to travel around the country to discover as many beautiful places as I can. Meanwhile, it would be great if I could teach or tutor online, either French or English, depending on what you need ! I am into all sorts of music, and I love movies & TV shows, so I use all these media to teach in an interesting way.

About the lesson

I have 6 years of teaching experience : nearly 2 as a French teacher (I have a master's degree), mainly in French schools and organizations for migrants and at the Alliance Française of Canberra in Australia ; and 4 full years as a certified English teacher (I completed the French National Exam in 2018), for French pupils in highschools and middleschools.
I believe that a language is made for communication, so I can use books and textbooks if need be, but I prefer the lessons to be as interactive as possible, and to use documents that will interest and motivate you. I always aim at creating the most positive atmosphere, and thanks to my professional and teaching experiences, I have learnt to be flexible and to teach accordingly to the educational aims and objectives you have.
The lessons should be at least 1h long for you to progress efficiently, and I can teach from beginners to advanced levels.

I am a certified teacher with official and national qualifications, and I have had a lot of different experiences. Also, I takes me about an hour to prepare a one hour class, which is why I ask for at least 50NZD/lesson.
