I prefer to use a blend of student-centered methods with teacher-centered methods. Parts of the lesson will be direct instruction while parts of the lesson inquiry or project-based learning. I think that it is important to be cognizant of different learning styles and to meet students where they are. I specialize in English for high school level but am certified to work with students from sixth grade through twelfth grade.
