About Victoria Sofia
I have been teaching English, both to children and adults, for over 7 years. I have worked in schools and institutes in my hometown, but most of my experience comes from working on online platforms such as this one! The greatest advantage of teaching online is that I get to meet people from all over the world and help them achieve their goals, as well as accompany them through their learning journey. I sat for the CPE exam, taken by Cambridge University, and passed with flying colors. After that, I enrolled at a local university to get my English Teacher degree, which I’m currently studying for. The skills and tools I have acquired over all these years and during my training period have helped me improve my lesson planning and made me able to prepare fun lessons on a wide variety of topics

I enjoy preparing classes tailored to my students’ needs and interests. I specialize in Conversational English, so one of my main skills is helping my students gain confidence in their speaking abilities. I use the Montessori method, which means I allow my students to set the pace and intensity of the lessons, as well as how much time we devote to each topic or skill in the classes. I don’t usually give a lot of homework, but I can prepare personalized tasks in case my students want to keep on learning in their free time. I love to see my students improve and become fluent in English!
