About COURTNEY
Based in Riverside, CA, I am a current California-certified middle school teacher specializing in both general education and accelerated 7th-grade math, with 12 years of classroom experience. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UC Davis, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics, and a Master of Arts in Learning and Teaching from the University of Redlands. I firmly believe that every student can be a "math person"—it simply takes the right approach. Students learn mathematics by doing mathematics.
