About Jeannette
I have a Masters degree in Business leadership, focusing on economics, marketing and change management. I have a teaching diploma, specialising in Maths, English and Afrikaans. I also tutor AS and A Level Psychology and Sociology for Cambridge and UNISA.
I owned a homeschooling cottage school for 15 years and have homeschooled my own children through Cambridge up to A levels. I tutor Maths from Primary School to Grade 10/ IGCSE. My knowledge is current. I know what examiners look for in your answers. I am happy to come to your home, host you in mine or meet in a public place.

What makes me unique is I understand what it feels like to "not get" your subject, especially with maths. I was there too once! I work one-on-one, as well as with small groups, so that I focus on each learner, your challenge areas and we work on solutions together. I have 2 decades of teaching experience, which keeps me current and I am able to explain concepts to you using every day examples and cases. I prefer to teach in English. I specialise in maths, grades 4 to 10 (including Cambridge IGCSE) and business subjects from grade 7 to 1st year university. I know what examiners look for in answers and where you unknowingly drop marks.
