About Olivia
Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.
I have over eight years' teaching experience and a genuine love of language learning. As a CELTA-qualified teacher with a background in primary education, I bring patience, creativity, and encouragement to every lesson.
Alongside my teaching experience, I have completed postgraduate study in Applied Linguistics, giving me a deeper understanding of how people learn and acquire languages.
I have worked with learners who wanted to read English books to their children, professionals who wanted to improve their confidence in the workplace, people preparing for life in the UK, and those who simply wanted to become more fluent in everyday conversations and understand local Scottish expressions that are part of daily life.
I'd love to help you grow in confidence and enjoy learning English.

My aim is simple: to make every lesson creative, enjoyable, and genuinely useful for your life.
I take a student-centred approach, tailoring every lesson to your individual goals and interests. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, communicate more confidently at work, or simply enjoy learning a new language, lessons are designed around what matters most to you.
I teach adult learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. Lessons are typically one hour long and can take place in a quiet coffee shop in Dundee or online.
My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where you can build confidence, make steady progress, and enjoy learning English.
