About Matteo

I am an English teacher with extensive experience at all levels and for all needs. I have been living in London for 20 years and have dual Italian and British citizenship. I have a degree in Oriental languages (Chinese) and previously I lived 4 years in China where I worked as an interpreter-translator for the Italian, English and Chinese languages. I am an expert and passionate teacher and my experience helps me to anticipate possible learning difficulties and to offer the most suitable ways to overcome them, guaranteeing the achievement of the set objectives.

About the lesson

Interactive lessons aimed at improving all four linguistic aspects: reading, writing, listening and speaking. All taking into account the objectives and interests of the student / group. The lesson begins with an introduction to the topic of the day, followed by the main objective which can be the reading of a passage, grammatical insights, new words, etc. The student / group practices / practices what has been learned with targeted exercises. The lesson ends with a discussion / conversation using the new elements introduced. The lesson focuses on elements of interest to students: these can be travel, sports, work situations, etc. The lessons are naturally calibrated for the right level of knowledge of the language and are neither too easy (otherwise the student will not learn or get bored), nor too difficult (otherwise the student is discouraged and struggles to learn). I teach lessons for all ages and for all levels.

Perfect! Ho iniziato un percorso con Matteo per migliorare il mio inglese sia parlato che scritto.
Dopo aver spiegato il mio obiettivo e le mie difficoltà Matteo mi ha guidato, grazie alla sua profonda conoscenza della lingua e alla sua importante esperienza, verso un percorso che mi sta aiutando a migliorare notevolmente.
Già dopo il primo mese mi sento più sicuro nel parlato e nello scritto oltre ad aver approfondito e compreso alcune parti della grammatica (a me oscure!).

Consiglio a chiunque sia interessato a migliorare l’inglese e sia alla ricerca di un professore preciso, disponibile, preparato e con esperienza di provare con Matteo!

Guglielmo ha una buona base linguistica di partenza che permette di affrontare conversazioni e temi di una certa complessita'. Dall'inizio delle lezioni ho potuto notare un visibile miglioramento nella fluenza nella conversazione e un utilizzo piu' mirato dei vocaboli. Guglielmo e' motivato a migliorare la lingua e si impegna oltre alle lezioni a far pratica di ascolto, lettura e revisione grammaticale. Bravo Guglielmo! Continua cosi'!

Details

Rates are intended for individual online lessons. A 10% discount will be applied per person for small groups of max 4 people. Further discounts for groups of more people or for packages of more than 10 hours of lessons. Cancellations: lessons can be moved to another date or canceled without penalty up to 24 hours before the lesson. A 50% penalty will be applied for cancellations less than 12 hours before the lesson.
