I am a Cambridge CELTA-Certified ESL teacher with 8+ years of international teaching experience, in both Academic and Business English and in both classroom and individual settings. I am also a Concordia University graduate with a B.A in History.

My classes incorporate a variety of different learning techniques from classic text books, videos and audios, to online resources, to in class games and activities. I keep my lessons up-to-date and I pride myself on creating engaging, student-centred classes. I specialize in speaking activities however as a previous ESL university teacher, I can provide listening, writing, reading and grammar based lessons, with ease and confidence. It is important for me that my students feel comfortable and that our lessons are fun and flexible. As someone who has learned a second language, I am extremely empathetic to the challenges and to the different learning styles of ESL students, and so I can assure you that you will have a very warm and encouraging environment to learn in.
