About Amir
I am an experienced English tutor with over seven years of professional teaching experience and a Cambridge CELTA certification. Currently pursuing my Master of Education in TESL at the University of Alberta, I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and achieved an IELTS Band Score of 8.5. Over the years, I have helped learners of diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels, from absolute beginner adults to advanced academic students, build confidence and master the English language. Alongside my teaching, my background in corpus-based linguistic research allows me to bring a deep, practical understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and communication to every lesson.
