About Ranjan
I am someone who overcommunicates. Communication is key when it comes to learning new things. If you feel like you've struggled to be heard in previous classroom/tutor settings, I promise to make sure that we communicate and overcommunicate about your needs and expectations to ensure we actually connect with each other and you actually connect with the subject material. Even difficult and unpleasant subjects can be enjoyable when you finally establish how you learn best!

Hi everyone! My name is Ranjan (like dungeon with an R) and I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelors and Masters in engineering fields. I have 5 years of experience teaching math and physics at various levels (Precalculus, Calculus 1-3, Physics (mechanics and E&M), as well as any AP versions of these courses) and I have 2 years of experience teaching chemistry (high-school-level and AP). If you are struggling in any of the aforementioned courses, don't be afraid to reach out! I can also offer college readiness advice (essay-writing, resume-writing, general advice and tips).
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I don't begin tutoring with a fixed curriculum and teaching style. Everyone has different learning styles, strengths, and weaknesses, and I want to make sure I modify my approach to best fit your needs as a student!
