About Syeda
By explicitly and systematically teaching children phonics, I help them to understand that there are systematic and predictable relationships between written letters (graphemes) and spoken sounds (phonemes). I help children in understanding the relationships between letters and sounds allows children to pronounce, comprehend, and decode, new words as they encounter them in print.
I provide opportunities for children to practice in reading and writing.

Phonics is a way of teaching children how to read and write. It helps children hear, identify and use different sounds that distinguish one word from another in the English language. Phonics involves matching the sounds of spoken English with individual letters or groups of letters.
