I have worked with other math tutors in the past and Malex has been the best! Professor Malex was an outstanding instructor for both Calculus and Finite Probability courses. In Calculus, she broke down complex topics like integration technique such as integration by parts, trigonometric substitutions, and partial fractions into manageable steps, using real-world examples like probability density functions to illustrate applications, which made abstract concepts feel tangible and relevant.
For Finite Probability, she excelled at teaching core ideas like probability distributions and convergence tests through simulations and empirical examples, fostering deductive reasoning without overwhelming us with advanced theory upfront.
Her engaging lectures, fair assessments based on homework, and willingness to clarify doubts outside class made these challenging subjects accessible and enjoyable. I passed my honors University course with an A+ thanks to Malex. I highly recommend her to any student tackling math!View more recommendations
