About Robert
I am a graduate-educated historian (MA, Queen's) who has nearly 20 years of professional writing experience, as well as history tutoring experience with high school students (in QC). I have also tutored HS and college students with essay writing; and have teaching assistant experience from my days as a grad student.

In my experience thus far, I have tutored by using the school-provided curriculum to help students increase their knowledge and understanding of the past they are studying. I have also used my own insights from my education to help delve deeper into the topic and expand student understanding. As history is a topic many students feel "forced" to study, I also try to reinforce the reason why students are asked to study the past during their education.
