About Sandra
The first session smells like fresh strings and sounds like the initial awkward strum of a barre chord. Beginners and advanced learners alike benefit from my acoustic technique foundations. I draw upon 13 years of experience to make reading sheet music feel accessible to grade exam candidates. We work through power chords until they ring true.
I share free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to assist your practice. Expect a focused environment that rewards curiosity. You will reach your goal of playing complete pieces with confidence.

Technique is often seen as a chore but I prefer to treat it as a playful experiment. 96 students have passed through my studio so far.
I spent 13 years singing with the BBC Symphony Orchestra before pivoting to teaching guitar. These 13 years of experience have shaped how I approach power chords and barre chords for adults and hobbyists. I am the teacher who prefers a practical joke to a stern lecture. My background is rooted in the English National Opera style of discipline.
