About Ammar
I am a patient and approachable tutor who believes that understanding is more important than memorizing. My lessons focus on explaining concepts in a clear and simple way, using step-by-step methods to help students build confidence in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. I usually start by identifying the student’s current level and areas of weakness. From there, I guide them through examples and practice questions, ensuring they understand the basics before moving on to more challenging questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace.

I am an SPM graduate who is currently waiting for my results. I teach Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for secondary school students. I can teach: Mathematics: Form 3 and Form 5 (these are my strongest levels) Additional Mathematics: Form 4 I am also open to teaching other levels, depending on the student’s needs. Although I do not have much formal teaching experience, I have experience teaching my friends. I have guided around 15 students from Form 4 to Form 5 in Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, and I supported them throughout their learning journey until SPM. My teaching style is simple and student-friendly. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step methods, and making sure students truly understand the basics before moving to harder questions. I am patient and comfortable explaining the same concept in different ways until students understand. A typical lesson usually lasts about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student’s level and pace. And actually, I studied in Malay, and I am more comfortable teaching in Malay.
