About Niamh
I am an 18-year-old student who has recently completed my A-Level examinations in Chemistry, Maths and Technology and Design. It has always been my dream to become a teacher and that is exactly what I am going to be doing at University next year. I have always been a passionate learner and this is something which I enjoy passing on to younger students so that they can get the most out of their school years and reach whatever goals they may have no matter how big or small. I achieved 7A* grades and 4As at GCSE which I feel reflect my love for learning and the depth of the subject knowledge which I have.

I have mentored GCSE maths students of varying abilities for the past 2 years. I tailor each individual lesson to suit that specific student's needs rather than having a general set plan. This allows me to get to understand where each student is struggling the most in individual topics so that I can re-explain in a more basic way before attempting questions. I always ensure that my students feel as comfortable as possible so that they can be encouraged to achieve their full potential and discover the fun side to learning rather than viewing it as something like a chore.
