About Mohammad Shayan
I have committed myself to full-time study ever since graduating high school in 2016. As a passionate academic and aspiring psychologist, I love to guide the learning of others. I have postponed my for the following year and am currently committing myself fully to teaching roles. I thrive off of connecting with other people and am highly motivated when there is purpose in the interactive setting. I am driven by the limitless potential of educating another individual and appreciate being able to teach others effectively and efficiently.

My teaching method highly depends on the student in question, being adaptable for the learning styles and needs of particular students is vital in teaching effectively. I do find that a smooth learning process of new content initially consists of ensuring that the student possesses the prerequisite skills and knowledge to grasp its theory. I typically approach teaching new theory by demonstrating a combination of conceptual and practical examples to the student. After conveying the new ideas, I go through additional examples and give them an opportunity to answer questions about the content. When I have gained confidence in the students ability, I give them a set of problems to solve independently in order to instil learning. Throughout this process, I am observing and listening to the student to formulate an ideal way of moving forward. Subsequent to covering the new content, I verbally question students to determine their level of confidence and understanding.
