About Daniel
I've had the chance to teach math that are related to physics, forestry, biostatistics, statistics, mineral technology, industrial maintenance, natural science, social science, composite materials, electrical engineering, pharmaceutical calculations, civil engineering, and computational mathematics.
Thanks to my experience, I love to explain why math is interesting and how do we use them day to day.
I have a human, patient and positive approach. Helping people understand and master new things is my passion.
Individual tutoring is the thing I prefer, since it is so easy and natural to see what are the strenghts of the student.
It always conforts me to remember that, in my case, nothing has ever been out of the students comprehension when tutoring them individually.
J'ai une approche humaine, patiente et positive. Aider les gens à comprendre et à maîtriser de nouvelles choses est ma passion.
J'aime toujours rappeler que, dans mon cas, les étudiants finissent TOUJOURS par comprendre quand on prend le temps de s'asseoir un à un. On a même du plaisir à y arriver!

First we'll talk about your needs!
Typically, I'll explain a concept that has not been understood, then we do a few examples together and make sure everything is clear. This part is to get rid of the classic ''I understand nothing''.
Then I'll let you try some exercices by yourself while I'll be monitoring and answer your questions!
This part is my favourite, because the sooner you're in action, the sooner you learn! :)
Finally I'll usually give you a few more exercices to try on your own.
My goal is to reach the point where you to need me anymore. I want to build your confidence and your autonomy so you learn to learn more efficiently and eventually all by yourself!
