About the lesson

Hi,
I'm Anthony - a Cambridge University Physics graduate.

I am looking to help individuals studying GCSE / A-Level Maths, Further Maths or Physics in any topic areas that they feel the need to improve on as well as show them the beauty of the subjects.

A-Level and GCSE Maths and Physics teaches content that has many uses at higher levels and lays the groundwork for higher-level science and maths. However whilst learning it, it's very easy to be clueless about where any of the content can actually be used, making learning the content harder.
I am tutoring to not only help students with any questions and problems they have with work but also to show where the content is used to motivate them to achieve their potential.

I tutor by showing the logic in the method, often at multiple angles to reach a full understanding, rather than trying the approach of having the students try and remember the method(s) as well as they can. This allows for a much richer understanding of the subjects and the ability to solve harder problems.

I can tailor my tutoring to specific needs, let that be from teaching a new topic to reviewing topics to any questions a tutee may have whilst learning a topic at school.

I have mentored multiple students through the University application process, all have received offers from Oxbridge.

I achieved A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-Level.
I achieved a 1st in my degree.
