About Serena
Hi, I am Serena from the UK. I am 54 and live in Ireland in Cork City. I love helping people and meeting people from other cultures - that is what makes me happy.
When I am not teaching English I volunteer in a drop in centre for women and I also play the celtic harp and Irish flute.

I like to get to know you and listen to your needs. I use the communicative approach and will normally do 30 minute lessons unless you want more.
I am Cambridge CELTA qualified, was born and educated in the UK. I have lived and taught English in France and Nepal and currently live in Ireland. I have ten years teaching experience mostly gained in London teaching international classes.
I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. I teach general, business and academic English. I can help reduce your accent and often help university students to correct their English for dissertations.
