About Dr Grant
I am a Cambridge Uni prof with decades of highly successful experience in tutoring students and extensive expertise (my qualifications include a Masters and Doctorate from the U niversity of Cambridge) plus an academic career at professorial level. I have won teaching prizes. My methods produce confident and excelling students. I love teaching and learning and my passion for academic studies means that I have often been called an inspiring role model by students of all ages.

I use engaging online tutorials tailored to your needs. The best tutorials are ones that students have done some targeted preparation for beforehand. I ask my students to read a particular item, or watch a video online, and prepare a brief summary of the argument being made in it. This acts as an effective springboard for the discussion in our online session. Writing skills are also important to success across the humanities. I am a specialist in essay & dissertation skills to help with your assessments. Get skilled up in identifying and challenging arguments, as well as building confidence in making your own.

I charge for all time with and for my students, including the first session. I also charge for any emailing and/or reading eg of essays... because unpaid labour is morally indefensible.
