About Soham
I am currently a year 13 student that has achieved extremely competitive grades at GCSE and AS level. As of January 15th I also received an offer to study Engineering at King's College Cambridge. I study at the top state school in the country, and have tutored previously at maths, physics, German, and history clinics at my school, as well as even younger kids looking to do their 11+ exams.

My teaching method is very visual: I use a lot of diagrams and proofs to make concepts very intuitive. I begin by assessing the student's end goal, and creating a syllabus based on his/her weak areas.
As I'm young, I'm very approachable to many students and can help even through social media if they require help outside of our class. I frequently ask the student if they feel comfortable with the concept I have just explained or the explanation I have given.
A typical lesson would look like this: at the start I find out how much the student already knows. Then I'll give a lesson on the topic and work through any areas of confusion. Then I'll set some questions of increasing difficulty to do as much as they can, with me helping them if needed. Then I'll give them a homework sheet to do if they want more practice.
