About Olga
I am currently studying History and Politics at the University of Cambridge. I also have a keen interest in English Literature (for which I attained an A* for A-Level) and am a qualified TEFL teacher, having taught individuals across a broad range of ages, backgrounds and language abilities pro bono at UCL. Further, I am fluent in Russian and speak French to an advanced level.
Grades:
GCSEs: 11 A*s, 1 A.
A-Levels: 3 A*s, 1 A (with 100% attainment in English Literature and Russian, and 98% in French).

I base my classes concretely around the individual student by primarily identifying their key areas of interest in either English Literature, Art History, History and/or Politics. I then assess the student's knowledge of the subject area i.e. a particular genre, theme or historical event, in order to ascertain areas of improvement, looking to develop their conceptual understanding of the subject and written ability. I will adopt a kinaesthetic, auditory and/or visual approach to cater best to my students' needs and maximise their potential, in exams and otherwise.
The lessons themselves, whilst having an incisive, academic edge, will be the product of a dialogue between the student and myself; fundamentally, I am looking to cultivate my students' strengths whilst pandering to their interests, in order to create a tailored, interactive and stimulating learning experience that will both be intellectually rigorous and enjoyable.
