About Lucía
Hi! I’m a multilingual Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh, a native Spanish speaker, and a Cambridge C2 English certificate holder. I offer lessons in Spanish, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and beginner-level Chemical Engineering for students of different ages and levels.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and interactive, with each lesson tailored to the student’s goals and learning style. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving your conversational Spanish, or building confidence in STEM subjects, I focus on clear explanations, practical examples and step-by-step guidance.
Having studied challenging scientific subjects myself, I understand that real learning comes from understanding concepts rather than memorising them. My goal is to help students feel confident, motivated and comfortable asking questions while making steady progress at their own pace.

I teach Spanish, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and beginner-level Chemical Engineering to students of different ages and levels. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that’s improving conversational Spanish, preparing for exams, building confidence, or mastering difficult concepts.
My teaching style is interactive and practical, focusing on understanding rather than memorisation. I use clear explanations, worked examples and problem-solving exercises to help students make steady progress and enjoy the learning process.
Lessons are available online in 45-minute, 1-hour or 90-minute sessions. As a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh and a native Spanish speaker with Cambridge C2 English, I can also support bilingual learners studying in either English or Spanish.
