About Kathleen
Highly-motivated student who has just finished Year 13, ready to start university this autumn. I have a strong passion for STEM and enjoy problem solving. Currently holding offers from University of Cambridge (engineering) and Imperial College London (mechanical engineering). Predicted all A* in Chemistry, Physics, Further Maths.
I have experience tutoring my peers at my former school in areas of maths/physics that they have found challenging.
During the summer of 2025, I worked as a maths tutor with Mathnasium, which involved teaching small groups of pupils aged 5-14.

As a tutor, I highlight the importance of organisation, as having robust learning strategies are just as important as knowledge of curriculum content when helping children to become strong, independent learners.
A typical lesson would be 1 hour, with designated time for reflection and recall. I am prepared to teach maths and physics for both GCSE and A level students.
Having prepared for admissions tests and interviews recently, I can also provide online coaching and help develop the problem-solving skills needed for admission at top universities.
