I am just starting out tutoring but feel I will be well suited to it; I have excelled academically, often helping my peers with parts they struggle with, and have been volunteering at the local Beaver Scout group for the last 3 years, so have had considerable experience working with children.

My lessons will usually start with asking students which parts of a topic they have been struggling with or going through a worksheet to find areas for them to improve on. We will then discuss what they are finding difficult, and then focus on trying to better understand and address any misconceptions. Lastly, we'll then work through problems so that the student can practice applying the knowledge
