About Keerti
I am a teacher, tutor and mentor who has worked with hundreds of happy students from some of the best schools in the UK and across the world!
After completing my Natural Sciences degree at the University of Cambridge, I completed an M.Sc in Health Psychology (Nottingham) and an M.A in International Child Studies at King's College London. I have most recently completed a postgraduate degree in Educational Neuroscience at UCL/Birkbeck and maintain a strong interest in research in learning in the context of SEND needs, severe exam anxiety and depression.
I qualified as a teacher through the prestigious Teach First programme in 2016 and have since worked with students and families on sciences, psychology and academic mentoring from secondary school to university level.
Students of mine have gone on to study sixth form at schools like Westminster, St Paul's and Eton. Other long term clients attend prestigious schools including King's College Wimbledon, Sevenoaks, NLCS and Francis Holland among others.
My older students have gone on to attend top universities such as Cambridge, Cornell, Chicago, Harvard, Wharton, Columbia and UCL among others.
I particularly enjoy working with students who lack confidence. There are few pleasures as great as seeing students who initially obtained levels 4s and 5s obtaining levels 8s and 9s in their final papers! I currently consult with some of the top education agencies in the UK and worldwide and have a client base both in the UK and across the world!

I enjoy teaching in context and firmly believe that it is important for students to be able to learn how to apply the knowledge they are being taught.
My classes are therefore tailored to the needs of the students I work with since each individual learns to apply information differently.
I see it as a success when students of mine learn how to manage their workload and can learn on their own eventually - I believe that the aim of tutoring is to facilitate long term progress and transferable skills rather than fostering dependence.
I therefore plan my classes to ensure that students have a solid foundation to revise from, plenty of opportunity to practise and a great set of resources for the future.
I also offer group classes based on whether I feel the student can thrive in a group environment - or whether a one to one setting suits them best.

Keerti tutored me for 5 years (in all 3 sciences for GCSE and then Chemistry A Level). She is an incredible tutor with wonderfully creative methods of teaching. I always felt so comfortable to ask her any question and even if I didn’t understand the answer at the beginning she ensured that I would always leave the lesson having understood the concepts! She’s simply the best.

- A whatsapp group for each student and parent with updates on what has been covered in each lesson and what homework is being set
- A half termly meeting with the parent with a roadmap for the next half term
- A google drive personal folder with resources and notes added as each lesson carries on
