About Uyen
Gaining experience as a volunteer mentor in school for GCSE Maths/Further Maths and AS Chemistry over the past couple years, I feel comfortable tutoring chemistry and maths up to A-Level and very much enjoy using my knowledge and skills to help further others in their studies. The GCSE Maths/Further Maths student passed with a 9 in Maths and an A* in Further Maths.
More recently, I have tutored year 13 students in Maths, Chemistry and Biology in preparation for A-levels to be taken in 2020.

As an undergraduate reading Medicine at Cambridge with 4 A*s at A-level, I am happy to offer tuition to GCSE and A-level students. Tutoring one-on-one, I am able to grasp how a unique individual studies and adjust my teaching method to best suit their learning style. I tend to first get an idea of the student's current knowledge and understanding of topic before explaining to them, going through questions together and then asking them questions to do themselves once they are more confident with the topic.
