About Alice
During my sixth form studies, I mentored GCSE students weekly in maths, chemistry and physics, helping them to get some much-needed one-on-one support in the lead up to these exams. I was able to offer personalised support that their teachers couldn't offer them in a classroom setting.
I also have four years experience as a teaching assistant in ballet classes for children between the ages of 2 and 10, helping to prepare them for Royal Academy of Dance examinations and performances.

I aim to initially identify the areas in which the student needs the most support so that these can be addressed. I believe that the best way to improve at maths is by applying the knowledge you have gained to a variety of questions. Students will be given problems to complete between lessons which we will then go over during the session, as well as working through new problems together. However, I am willing to be flexible with this depending on what works for the student.
